This N That on the Crypto Crash


Why are only 1000 people talking about it? Why aren't the rest 3.9 million + users not posting about the crash too?It's not a dip anymore, it's a goddamn crash!How will we all get to know that it's a crash unless we all put up individual posts on it?I've been seeing a lot of "When in doubt, zoom out", what I don't understand, is what my camera lens feature has anything to do with the red on my portfolio!And people are making such nonsensical claims that market correction is healthy, such BS should not be tolerated at all. Crypto charts should just be filled with a steep, straight, green line going upwards. I mean, isn't crypto all about 100x and "To the Moon!"?Jeez I swear, who looks up the historical charts to understand the growth of crypto despite multiple "crashes" over the years when we can just keep whining about the crypto we bought at the peak of a major bull run? I’ve done some very basic research. I vaguely understand the blockchain mechanism and understand that the benefit of crypto is that it is decentralized (for now..).What I’m failing to understand is how crypto is at all functionally different than stock. From my objective point of view (I have no skin in the game yet, hence the post) it seems that it functions the same as stock, driven by its perceived value causing the price of a coin to rise and fall. Can someone explain how crypto functions different than stock as an investment? Also, I don’t quite understand how countries are adopting crypto as a currency. How can we use crypto as currency on a national level with the price fluctuation. The whole point of having a national currency is that it is stable and continues to hold the same value over time and space.
